Gumleaves
The gum trees were flushing with new red tips. The curve & twist of the leaves as well as the colour shifts are what I love about these leaves. The holes and chips along their edges just make them all the more interesting. I started with acrylic paint on watercolour paper, then went in over the top with watercolour pencil.
