Lichen snow

It is Summer holidays and instead of painting I’ve been enjoying working out my new SLR digital camera. A Christmas present from my gorgeous husband. Every Christmas we take a six hour drive south to my mum’s place on the Central Coast of NSW, another stunning part of the coast. The Wyrrabalong National Park is my favourite place to walk. The trails take you along a high bluff called Crackneck. In Spring it is awash with Flannel Flowers, Banksia, Baronia and Grass Trees. In the summer the Gum Trees peel to reveal their new skins of soft greys through to bright greens, reds and oranges.
